Kelly Herndon is a Certified Peer Support Specialist and serves as the Director of Community Outreach. Drawing from her lived experience and formal peer support training, she provides non-clinical, recovery-oriented support to individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. In her peer support role, Ms. Herndon helps clients build practical skills, strengthen self-advocacy, connect to community resources, and stay engaged in treatment. She offers encouragement, accountability, and empowerment through shared understanding and mutual respect. As Director of Community Outreach, she develops partnerships with local organizations, coordinates community engagement initiatives, and helps expand access to mental health services within the communities we serve. Her work bridges clinical services and community support, ensuring clients feel connected, understood, and supported beyond the therapy room.
