Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Maranda Hansley is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) at Restorative Mindset & Behavior Institute PLLC, providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care across the lifespan.
Maranda earned her Master of Science in Nursing in the psychiatric mental health specialty from the University of South Alabama, where she was a Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) scholar and a member of the nursing honor society Sigma Theta Tau and the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with minors in Spanish for the Medical Professions and Music.
Her psychiatric nurse practitioner experience spans outpatient psychiatric care, comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and brief therapeutic interventions with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She has helped build a psychiatric medication management program from the ground up as a practice's first psychiatric provider, cared for rural and underserved communities, and supported patients navigating substance use recovery, trauma, and eating disorders. Her nursing background includes inpatient psychiatric care, withdrawal management, residential treatment for adolescents, and crisis intervention.
Maranda is known for her warm, collaborative approach and her commitment to trauma-informed, whole-person care. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys music and time with her family.
